Dalan ba Dame Audio Version This is a CD of the sound-track of the CAVR film Dalan ba Dame (Road to Peace). The CD presents the history of Timor-Leste until 1999 in the words of ordinary Timorese based on interviews conducted by CAVR and testimony given at CAVR public hearings. The audio program is in Tetum only and runs for 2 hours 30 minutes. To facilitate use, it is presented in five 30 minute segments. Part 1: Portuguese Timor , Indonesian invasion and internal conflict; Part 2: forced displacement and famine; Part 3: detention and torture; Part 4: the 1991 Santa Cruz massacre; Part 5: the 1999 Popular Consultation. The program is ideal for broadcast by radio or use in the classroom and study groups. It is recommended that it be used in conjunction with the CAVR historical posters and Chapter 3 of Chega! on Timor 's history. The link to the audio version will be provided soon.
